It also brings auditing and security by design, and you can earn rewards by solving a mathematical puzzle. Now, you can be your bank and transact with whomever you want without an intermediary.
My touchpoints with Bitcoin so far: Bitcoin is digital gold (a limited amount makes it rare and valuable); it is peer-to-peer (no banks or intermediaries). It is probably the future of money.
