Why is blockchain interesting? I see blockchain is the current and future technology of human beings which can help to solve a lot of current problems in many industries. Take the finance industry as an example. Blockchain can enable faster, cheaper, and more secure transactions and disintermediate traditional financial institutions. I also see its potential in other industries such as supply chain management, healthcare, voting and governance. With those reasons, I am intrigued by this technology, and I desire to learn more about it before it is too late.
My touchpoints with blockchain so far: I have been learning by myself for several months by reading some books about blockchain and Bitcoin for beginner levels, for example “The Basics of Bitcoins and Blockchains” by Antony Lewis or “The Bitcoin Standards: The Decentralized Alternative to Central Banking” by Saifedean Ammous. Furthermore, I have been always trying to keep myself updated with the current affairs in the blockchain technology through newspapers, TV broadcasts, etc. However, I had felt I was missing a common community of people who share the same interest until I luckily found DTL Talents!
