Why is Bitcoin interesting? Bitcoin’s multidisciplinary nature allows an indefinite number of angles from which Bitcoin can be viewed, aligning with the ethos of Bitcoin by permitting participation from everyone. Furthermore, Bitcoin serves as the Store of Value network, offering an opt-in solution for anyone seeking to safeguard their purchasing power in a secure and self-sovereign manner. This freedom liberates individuals from the sphere of influence and decisions of central authorities.
My touchpoints with Bitcoin so far: My rabbit hole journey didn’t start with the Orange Pill, but rather from a purely investment-oriented perspective. It wasn’t until I began to look behind the curtain of this grand stage, revealing a complex interplay of technology, economics, and philosophy. Since then, Bitcoin has consumed over 2,000 hours of my time. As Ijoma Mangold suggests, Bitcoin behaves like a virus, compelling individuals to spread its message. That’s why, starting in 2024, I initiated Bitcoin education evenings (BitcoinIntellekt) for friends, colleagues, and anyone interested. The aim is not to persuade anyone about Bitcoin but rather to ignite an exciting journey for them.
