Why is ReFi interesting? ReFi is interesting because it enables technology to reorganize and revolutionize the finance industry. This approach not only introduces a new perspective to the current entrepreneurial system but also has the potential to fundamentally change the way we live. By aligning financial incentives with broader societal goals, ReFi could reshape both the economy and our daily lives.
My touchpoints with blockchain and ReFi so far: As a Product Manager at an early-stage startup, my role involves understanding the energy market and identifying opportunities to disrupt the status quo by applying blockchain technology. I’m focused on developing hypotheses that help companies reduce their emissions, using blockchain as a tool for tokenization. Additionally, my master’s thesis on MiCAR compliance examines how digital innovation is being either constrained or shaped by regulatory authorities, and explores strategies to navigate these challenges effectively.
