Why is ReFi interesting? Refi, or regenerative finance, is really cool because it flips the script on how finance usually works. Instead of just chasing profits, it’s about making money while also doing good for the planet, like restoring ecosystems or reducing carbon emissions.
My touchpoints with blockchain and ReFi so far: I’ve come across Refi as a way to rethink finance by making it more focused on sustainability and positive impact. What I find interesting is how it’s trying to create financial systems that actually help the environment, like through carbon credits or projects that restore nature. My understanding so far is that it’s about finding a balance between making money and doing good for the planet, which feels like a really important shift. It’s still a relatively new area for me, but the idea of investing in a way that supports a healthier world is definitely something that stands out.
