Work experience: I am currently serving as Chief Product Officer at Tero Carbon, a role I have held since August 2022. Previously, I co-founded Hdom Engenharia e Projetos Ambientais Ltda, where I was involved in technical services for forest carbon projects (REDD+) from 2009 to 2022. Additionally, I co-founded and led eumostro as CEO from November 2019 to July 2022. Earlier in my career, I worked as an Account Executive at ESSS, managing accounts across Latin America from June 2016 to December 2018, and as an EDA Manager at ESSS from April 2009 to November 2011, where I focused on business development and improving product development cycles for electromagnetic simulations using ANSYS.

Why is ReFi interesting? Working in the Amazon, I have seen how ReFi can be a catalyst for economic growth with environmental stewardship. For me, Brazil’s potential to lead in the carbon market is immense – it’s about leveraging our unique natural assets to drive positive change. I believe in the philosophy of investing to preserve, where each project not only addresses climate change but also improves the lives of local communities. This approach gives me hope for a future where both people and planet can truly thrive.
My touchpoints with blockchain and ReFi so far: ReFi is particularly compelling to me due to my extensive involvement in the field. Since 2009 at HDOM, I have been deeply engaged with ReFi through forest carbon projects. My experience at eumostro further reinforced my commitment, as we focused on ESG solutions and circular economy practices. Currently, at Tero Carbon, I continue to work directly with ReFi by certifying environmental assets, which underscores my ongoing dedication to this area.
