Why is ReFi interesting? Regenerative Finance brings new hope to remodel the economics where efforts of land stewards and farmers are incentivized while healing the damaged cause. In the time of conversing crisis, ReFi can rapidly reform our relationship with mother nature and accelerate the transition towards just, equitable and regenerative cultures. The unique blend of technology and nature as an assets class can re-establish our relationship with nature.
My touchpoints with blockchain and ReFi so far: I have been actively working towards regenerative transition of smallholder farmers and land stewards and ReFi has been instrumental in designing incentive models and alternative local economies serving to the underserved communities. The transparency, immutability and scalability supports to evolve business models in the space. My work at Bhumi.Earth relates to incentivizing farmers for improving soil health and following regenerative practices through the carbon credit market.
