Why is ReFi interesting? Because it represents the intention of designing a financial system that restores and enhances natural ecosystems, social equity, and community resilience while generating economic returns. Because it prioritizes investments that contribute to environmental sustainability and social justice. The next question stakeholders involved in such design should pose is how to evaluate, measure, and document all intentions and outcomes to critically assess whether the system is indeed regenerating.
