Why is ReFi interesting? ReFi is compelling to me because it aligns economic incentives with environmental restoration, creating a model where investments in nature regeneration are not just ethical but also profitable. This is exactly what I want to offer to the Games and Creative Industries, a sustainable framework where investors see returns while contributing to the health of our planet.
My touchpoints with blockchain and ReFi so far: Two and a half years ago, I founded a nonprofit climate action club. At GamesForest.Club, we’ve brought together over 60 gaming companies to support forest conservation, tree planting, and carbon offset projects. We’re already seeing tangible results where investing in nature is proving beneficial. Our goal is to continue developing models that excite our partners and their players by demonstrating how regenerating nature can be both impactful and financially rewarding.
