Why is ReFi interesting? Regenerative finance is interesting as it provides a double reward for its stakeholders: revenue and a better environment. It is interesting due to the limitless opportunities behind it, there are numerous problems that need to be solved when it comes to climate. The solutions are out there, many waiting to be discovered and scaled, and refi can provide the access to financial capital needed. Refi provides both a great opportunity for investors to get ahead and profit from the green transition, and for future generations to live in a healthy world.
My touchpoints with blockchain and ReFi so far: My knowledge when it comes to Refi mostly lies on carbon credits at the moment. Carbon credits are the most developed financial instrument individuals and corporations can use to finance climate projects. I have bought carbon credits to compensate for my individual emissions related to my flights, for example.
