She has a strong passion for design, innovation, ReFi, cradle-to-cradle principles, and climate tech. She believes machines should serve and protect humanity, enhancing productivity, security, and well-being while handling the tedious bits.
Fun Facts about you: I’m a half-and-half mix—too spontaneous and adventurous to be German, but way too disciplined and pragmatic to be South American.
When and what was your first touchpoint with ReFi & Blockchain?: My earliest lesson in fairness came from my father, who believed that while opportunities differ, people don’t—we’re all equals. In the early 2000’s, Books like ‘The Ecology of Commerce’ woke me up to sustainability, showing how short-term gains drain resources, while ‘Suburban Nation’ opened my eyes to how we design cities for cars, not people. ‘Cradle to Cradle’ taught me the value of designing beyond profit, leading me to LEED courses advocating for green buildings. My blockchain journey kicked off with Untitled-INC, where we won a hackARThon in Basel,-a project spotlighting artist-centric solutions through blockchain technology. My path wasn’t a straight line—it was a series of realizations and shifts that eventually led me to ReFi and Web3-Talents.
What fascinates you most about ReFi?: ReFi flips the game—it’s about aligning financial systems with the planet’s well-being, creating value that restores rather than extracts. It fascinates me because it turns finance into a tool for regeneration, bridging capital with genuine impact.
Your favorite ReFi Influencer: Again, authors, architects, and even politicians like: Paul Hawken, Andre Duany, Prof. Michael Braungart, William McDonough, Kate Raworth, Al Gore, and more.
Your best knowledge resource in the blockchain space?: Several documentaries like “Cryptopia: Bitcoin, Blockchains and the Future of the Internet,” “Bitcoin: The End of Money As We Know It.” and many channels, Coin Bureau, YouTube, and my mentor in the space, Dr. Oliver Krause, (Untitled INC -It’s Not Centralized).
My favorite ReFi project? Currently, I’m working on GR33NBASE.iO ,–a platform directing capital towards green tech startups channeling investments away from fossil fuels and into impactful, resilient projects.
Your favorite word in Crypto Jargon: “HODL” It’s like telling everyone to “hold on for dear life,” which feels perfectly fitting for the crypto rollercoaster.
