Why is blockchain interesting? By revolutionising trust and transparency, blockchain’s potential application across various sectors makes it a transformative technology. Smart contracts have the ability to enhance the transparency of judicial processes, giving way to a future where integrity and innovation flourish hand in hand.
My touchpoints with blockchain and DLT so far: An aspect I am particularly interested in is Zero Proof Knowledge (ZPK) and its potential to bridge the gap between legal and technological incompatibilities. While blockchain is increasingly being used in many industries, many of its core features are not compatible with important privacy regulations like the GDPR. ZKP is a potential solution for to render blockchain GDPR compliant.
