Why is blockchain interesting? I am very inspired by the idea of DAOs, which enable new forms of community organization and can operate across government systems and financial institutions, empowering people to act collectively and have a real impact on the world. I believe in a future where every form of governance is based on the principles of collective leadership, decentralized, accountable and transparent. I believe in a future where communities as groups of private individuals are empowered by technologies like blockchain or DLT, not just individually by old money, global brands or authoritarian institutions. I want to be the person who shapes the world for that future.
My touchpoints with blockchain and DLT so far: The DLT community inspires me to act towards my higher goals, which always look too complex to be alone in the web, too much MINT for me as a visual artist hehe… With the support of the bright and shining cohort of women, I feel the power of collective knowledge in its most beautiful form of existence. I’ve started to explore blockchain on my own with Token Engineering Commons, though it was a welcome and complex place to start. My aspiration is that DLT programs will be able to provide a foundation for this technology, as well as a full understanding of how it can be applied to real-world problems.
