Why is blockchain interesting? The blockchain field is so exciting because it has the potential to transform global financial markets by revolutionizing the way transactions are conducted and recorded. Its decentralized nature and cryptographic security can enhance transparency, reduce fraud, and lower transaction costs, thus making financial operations more efficient and accessible to a broader population.
My touchpoints with blockchain and DLT so far: I worked in a compliance position that offered me insights to European crypto regulations like MiCA or TFR. Furthermore, German legislation on crypto custodians as well as risk management frameworks were also touchpoints of mine. Now, I am researching RWA tokenisation in Australia.
