Why is blockchain interesting?
Blockchain technology is fascinating because it offers unprecedented transparency and security. Its decentralized nature also allows for more efficient and cost-effective cross-border transactions, transforming banking by eliminating intermediaries and reducing transaction times. Looking ahead, blockchain’s potential to foster financial inclusion and enhance trust in global financial systems will be truly transformative.
My touchpoints with blockchain and DLT so far: My journey with blockchain and distributed ledger technology (DLT) began during an elective course in my master’s program, where I gained a solid foundation in the principles and potential applications of these technologies. Currently, my company is exploring blockchain solutions, which has provided me with valuable insights into its practical use cases in various industries. I am enthusiastic about deepening my knowledge and contributing to innovative projects that leverage blockchain for development aid and banking improvements.
