Why is DeFi interesting? DeFi experiments with innovative financial solutions and introduces entirely new financial products in a more transparent and decentralized manner, aligning with the broader trend of digitalization. It reimagines how financial services can be delivered, offering global accessibility and reducing reliance on intermediaries. As user experience, security, and regulatory frameworks improve, many DeFi protocols are likely to be integrated with traditional financial products, bridging the gap between legacy systems and blockchain-based innovation. This evolution has the potential to redefine the financial landscape.
My touchpoints with DeFi so far: I am an active investor in both public and private markets, as well as a native crypto user. During my postgraduate studies, I worked on a tokenization project in collaboration with a leading bank in CEE. Additionally, I support crypto startups and investors with research, investment strategies, and fundraising efforts.
