Why is DeFi interesting? DeFi (Decentralized Finance) has the potential to revolutionize the traditional financial system by enabling decentralized and accessible financial services on a global scale. Blockchain and smart contracts are transforming traditional finance (TradFi) while complementing it with innovative and efficient solutions. By providing individuals with unprecedented access to financial tools, DeFi represents the next evolutionary leap in the global economic ecosystem.
My touchpoints with DeFi so far: Bitcoin was my first touchpoint with DeFi. I spent two years as a PhD researcher delving deeply into the subject. Through my research, I uncovered the vast, untapped potential of DeFi and felt a strong urge to move from theory to practical application. This determination led me to join the DeFi Talents program.
