Why is DeFi interesting? With my experience in financial services, I am fascinated by how DeFi is challenging the status quo. It creates new opportunities for innovation, such as decentralized lending platforms, programmable payments, and tokenized assets. DeFi reimagines traditional processes, offering efficiency, accessibility, and financial autonomy on a global scale.
My touchpoints with DeFi so far: I have already experience with blockchain technology, having written my master’s thesis on its impact in the banking industry. I have also given blockchain lectures to Mercedes-Benz employees and supported a startup in developing a new blockchain consultancy department. Currently, I serve as a Mentor and Moderator for DLT Valley, furthering my engagement with the blockchain community.
