Why is DeFi interesting? DeFi is interesting because it improves on the TradFi systems by removing intermediaries, enabling peer-to-peer transactions, and offering financial services that are open, transparent, and accessible to anyone globally. DeFi empowers individuals by providing innovative solutions like lending, staking, and liquidity provisioning, which were previously only available through centralized entities. “Be your own bank” is a statement which I strive to make a reality.
My touchpoints with DeFi so far:
My journey with blockchain and DeFi began with exploring Bitcoin and later on – decentralized technologies and understanding how they disrupt traditional systems. I have worked on back-end and blockchain development projects, focusing on smart contracts, decentralized applications (DApps), and integrating blockchain protocols. Currently, I am on the path expanding my expertise in building secure and efficient blockchain solutions, particularly in DeFi. I have actively engaged with various DeFi platforms, exploring decentralized exchanges, staking, and lending protocols to understand their mechanics and potential.
