Why is DeFi interesting? DeFi is exciting because it’s transforming the way we think about finance. By removing intermediaries, it gives people full control over their assets while opening up innovative services like lending, borrowing, and trading—all in a decentralized way. What I find especially interesting is how fast the space is evolving, with new ideas like tokenized assets and decentralized governance constantly emerging. It’s not just about finance; it’s about building a more open and inclusive economic system for everyone.

My touchpoints with DeFi so far: I’ve been fortunate to have quite a few touchpoints with blockchain and DeFi. At Accointing.com and Glassnode, I helped scale user bases and build growth strategies, while making crypto concepts more accessible to everyday users. At Enoda, I’m working on a Web3 platform for electricity infrastructure, where I lead the policy and regulatory aspects of the product, bridging the gap between innovation and compliance. I’ve also consulted in the blockchain space and have authored a few publications on topics like blockchain policy and its intersection with economics and governance. Additionally, I’ve spoken on web3 conferences and panels at universities like Oxford and UCL, which has deepened my understanding of the space and its broader implications.
