Why is DeFi interesting? Decentralized finance is particularly interesting to me due to my studies in economics and my first-hand experience with how the financial sector operates in Frankfurt. It is crucial for banks to understand the disruptive potential of blockchain technology, which provides financial services without relying on traditional intermediaries. As the world advances rapidly, DeFi and blockchain technologies may represent the most effective adaptation to increase efficiency by offering faster, more secure, and more cost-effective processes for everyone.
My touchpoints with DeFi so far: I began my journey in 2020 and have since been continually striving to keep pace with the rapidly evolving crypto ecosystem. My experiences range from investing and staking to understanding market narratives and indicators, performing on-chain analysis, helping create a trading bot, exploring decentralized exchanges and testnets, managing wallets, and even developing a meme coin. Despite these endeavours, there is still so much more to discover, which is why I find this field so exciting.
