Why is DeFi interesting? Decentralized Finance (DeFi) is revolutionary because it eliminates intermediaries, democratizing access to financial tools for people worldwide. With my background in financial analysis and blockchain research, I view DeFi as a system that fosters transparency, efficiency, and inclusion, especially for underserved communities. DeFi aligns with my passion for driving innovative financial solutions while enabling open, permissionless participation. Its composability and ability to automate processes with smart contracts further showcase its potential to reshape investment strategies and enhance decision-making in global finance.
My touchpoints with DeFi so far: I have experience in blockchain and DeFi as a Digital Asset Analyst at Cryptus Media, where I conducted in-depth tokenomics analysis and regulatory research to identify trends in decentralized finance. I analyzed DeFi protocols and organized data on 200+ projects to improve research efficiency. Additionally, I delivered presentations on DeFi tools and innovations, focusing on emerging opportunities in decentralized ecosystems. A specialization like Duke University’s “DeFi: The Future of Finance” further solidifies my expertise in the DeFi landscape.
