Why is DeFi interesting? DeFi fascinates me because it decentralizes trust and offers a level of transparency and efficiency that traditional finance often lacks, allowing users to interact with financial services directly, without intermediaries. The ability to program money and create innovative financial products opens endless possibilities, from automated trading strategies to democratized lending platforms. For me, DeFi represents the future of finance—a system that is open, fair, and accessible to all.
My touchpoints with DeFi so far: My journey with blockchain began in 2018 during my time as a Senior IT Consultant, where I explored the potential of distributed ledger technology in enterprise settings. I further deepened my expertise through the DLT Talent Program, gaining hands-on experience with smart contract development and security analysis on Ethereum. Currently, I am actively participating in the DeFi Talent Program, focusing on decentralized financial applications, cross-chain interoperability, and compliance in DeFi. Through writing, video content, and educational projects, I aim to make blockchain and DeFi more accessible to broader audiences.
