Why is DeFi interesting? DeFi represents a groundbreaking financial technology that enables direct, borderless transfer of value without traditional intermediaries, powered by blockchain and smart contracts. By creating an open and composable ecosystem, DeFi allows for seamless integration of financial services, enabling innovative protocols that can be combined in unprecedented ways. This technology democratizes access to financial tools, providing global inclusion by allowing anyone with an internet connection to participate in sophisticated financial operations previously reserved for institutional players.

My touchpoints with DeFi so far: My blockchain journey began in 2020 with MIT’s acclaimed “Blockchain Technology: Business Innovation and Applications” course, which sparked my vision for transformative digital asset creation and transfer. To deepen my technical expertise, I completed an intensive Chainlink bootcamp and workshops at the Token Engineering Academy, gaining practical insights into smart contracts, NFTs, oracles, and DeFi systems modeling. Complementing my academic pursuits, I’ve actively engaged with the DeFi ecosystem through yield farming strategies and hands-on token investments. Despite initial organizational challenges. I’m currently investigating innovative ways to promote sustainable projects by leveraging the potential of blockchain tokenization.
