Work experience: Over the past three years, I have worked as a successful freelancer on international projects through Upwork. I have also spent two years as an Independent Consultant in Mexico, where I worked across a diverse range of business areas. Most recently, I joined ReSource Finance, a decentralized finance protocol for business-to-business credit networks. During my time there, I gained experience in Blockchain, Regenerative Finance, Fundraising in the Crypto environment, and helped to set up the company's structure and processes. Currently, we are expanding our efforts to Africa, with a particular focus on Kenya. Prior to this, I was the Administration and Finance Manager for a fast-growing drop shipping business based in the Netherlands. Here, I was responsible for managing HR, Supply Chain, and Finance departments. Additionally, I have two years of experience in Business-to-Business Marketing for a CRM company in Spain. This role allowed me to work with teams from different cultures and develop my skills in researching new business opportunities and tapping into untouched markets.

Why is DeFi interesting? I find DeFi fascinating because it represents a cutting-edge technology with the potential to bring about positive change on a global scale. Being decentralized, it eliminates the need for intermediaries, making financial processes more efficient and transparent.

Your touchpoints with DeFi so far: I have witnessed individuals who have greatly benefited from DeFi protocols, gaining access to financial services and opportunities that were previously inaccessible. DeFi's ability to enable financial inclusion is particularly remarkable, as it opens doors for individuals in underserved communities, regardless of their geographic location. By removing borders, DeFi has the power to revolutionize the way we think about and interact with traditional financial systems, ultimately fostering greater economic empowerment worldwide.
