Why is Bitcoin interesting? Bitcoin isn’t just interesting or fascinating because it seemingly emerged from nowhere, it has literally saved lives. People who couldn’t afford to work a traditional 8-hour job, or who had to juggle multiple jobs just to survive, found financial freedom by acting early and placing their trust in this revolutionary tool.
I’ve never been one to embrace change easily. When my industry transitioned from analog to digital photography, I was probably one of the last to adapt. But this time, with Web3, I made a different choice. I decided to dive headfirst into a technology that feels completely foreign to me, especially since I’m not a highly technical person.
Yet, I trust my instincts. And my instincts tell me that this innovation, the work of an unknown creator, has already done immense good. Bitcoin represents something bigger than just money. It’s a shift in power, a tool for financial sovereignty, and a lifeline for those who need it most. And that, to me, is worth believing in.

My touchpoints with Bitcoin so far: My journey into Bitcoin started from a place of curiosity and necessity. Entering the Web3 space in 2023, with no background in tech or finance, felt like stepping into a completely foreign world, one that was overwhelming but undeniably intriguing.
Reading “21 Lessons” by Gigi was a turning point. Two concepts from the Philosophy of Bitcoin” struck me the most:
1. Unchangeability – Bitcoin doesn’t bend to anyone’s will. Unlike traditional systems, which are constantly manipulated by governments and institutions, Bitcoin remains incorruptible, decentralized, and independent. This was eye-opening. In an era where everything changes rapidly, even fundamental truths, Bitcoin’s immutability is a breath of fresh air.
2. Scarcity – The idea that something digital could be truly finite amazed me. The paradox is fascinating: Bitcoin achieves scarcity through duplication. The more Bitcoin spreads, the more scarce and valuable it becomes. In a world of unlimited money printing, Bitcoin taught me what real scarcity is.
Bitcoin has been deeply personal to me. It represents financial empowerment, self-sovereignty, and the freedom to opt out of broken systems. As someone who was once reluctant to embrace change, I now find myself completely immersed in this revolution, eager to learn more and share this knowledge with the next generation.
Bitcoin isn’t just an investment or a technology, it’s a new way of thinking. And for me, that’s just the beginning.
