Why is Bitcoin interesting? Bitcoin is interesting to me because it’s decentralized, scarce, and censorship-resistant, offering financial freedom beyond traditional banking. With its fixed supply of 21 million coins, it acts as a deflationary store of value, like digital gold. The blockchain ensures transparency and security, preventing manipulation. If Bitcoin had existed at scale earlier, it could have prevented the financial crisis by removing reliance on central banks and opaque financial systems. Bitcoin drives decentralization and innovation, shaping a more transparent and fair financial future—aligning with my passion for Web3 and disruptive technologies.

My journey with Bitcoin has been shaped by both academic research and practical applications. I’ve explored Bitcoin’s role in regenerative finance (ReFi), analyzing its potential as a store of value and an alternative to traditional financial systems.
As part of the Bitcoin Talents Program, I am deepening my understanding of Bitcoin’s technical, economic, and social implications. I am also working on Smartreads and a comprehensive book about Bitcoin, focusing on its impact and future potential.
