Why is Bitcoin interesting? Bitcoins decentralized nature challenges the basic understanding of financial regulation. The underlying Blockchain technology has the ability to change practices we always took for granted.

As a law student it is incredibly exciting for me to explore the various legal challenges and opportunities that arise as the technology gets more popular.

My touchpoints with Bitcoin so far: Bitcoin was my first touching point with the Blockchain technology. It taught me to not judge a book by its cover and that a deep understanding is needed before making up your mind.
