Why is Bitcoin interesting? Bitcoin has the potential to disrupt many industries and change the way value is transferred and stored. Moreover, the technology behind it – Blockchain – has numerous applications beyond just digital currencies.

My touchpoints with Bitcoin so far: My current experience and interests relate mostly to Blockchain, so the technology underlying Bitcoin. I wrote my PhD thesis on the use of blockchain for the purpose of EU VAT compliance and fighting VAT fraud as well as few articles on the use of blockchain for tax purposes.
